About
Shawn doesn't like writing about himself, but he'll give it a shot just this once. In early 2018, he hopped on a plane and landed in LA. He previously lived in NYC, where he studied film and television production at NYU Tisch and then went on to work as an editor/assistant editor.
As an editor, he's worked on a variety of projects, ranging from short films to surf documentaries and tv shows. In 2017, he was awarded the Best Editing award at the First Run Film Festival for his work on Cosmo Carlson's short film, The Derby.
Every image he conjures up for the rest of his life will have their roots in the countless days he spent in his hometown of Plymouth, MA daydreaming about making movies one day. In addition to film, his passions include video games and the outdoors. From prior industry experiences, he feels the need to disclaim that he is an avid Red Sox fan. Consider this your notification/warning.
He's an aspiring screenwriter/director and he's working hard on his next screenplay and short film.
Also, he doesn't really play guitar. Well, he kinda does, but just pretend he doesn’t so he doesn’t have to prove it.
